SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLUBS
SAFARI CUBS (8-11yrs)
Three day long fun holidays clubs with arts, crafts, games, trails and hands on experiences with some of the Park’s smaller, friendly animals. £140/person. Available in Easter Holidays, Summer Holidays and October Half Term.
SAFARI EXPLORERS (12-14yrs)
Three day long fun holidays clubs with arts, crafts, games, trails and hands on experiences with some of the Park’s smaller, friendly animals. Sessions aimed at older children including team building and outdoor learning. £140/person. Available in Easter Holidays, Summer Holidays and October Half Term.
CONSERVATION CLUBS (15-17yrs)
Five day introduction into the world wildlife conservation. With a mix of practical and theoretical elements, the five day course included information on animal care, conservation work and careers with animals. Available in Easter Holidays and Summer Holidays. £220/person.
Give us a call to provisionally book your child onto a club. We won’t take any payment until parent consent forms have been completed and minimum numbers have been met for the club.
EVENING & WEEKENDS
SAFARI CAREER DAYS (16+yrs)
Our NEW Safari Careers Days are fun and informative days for those interested in pursuing a career in the animal care industry. A chance to learn more about animals and the variety of jobs available working with them, with guided tours, tutorials and hands-on experiences with some of our smaller friendlier animals. £60/person.
SAFARI CONSERVATION EVENING CLASSES
Enrol onto one of our adult evening courses to expand your wildlife and conservation knowledge and have a greater understanding of the role of the Safari Park within research, conservation and education. 10% of all course fees going directly to our wildlife conservation charity.
EVENING CONSERVATION TALKS
Do you live locally and want to expand your wildlife and conservation knowledge in a more adhoc or informal way? We run a number of evening talks by experts in the field. Register your interest to be the first to find out about these events.
Do you aspire towards a job in the animal care industry? Then find out more about our accredited qualifications delivered onsite at the Safari Park, in conjunction with Birmingham Metropolitan College.
LEVEL 2 ANIMAL CARE
One year diploma course giving an introduction to all aspects of animal care including accommodation, feeding, behaviour and handling.
LEVEL 3 ANIMAL MANAGEMENT
Two year extended diploma course designed to give you the knowledge and practical skills required for a huge variety of animal care related jobs, or for higher level study at university.
ANIMAL CARE OPEN EVENINGS 2017

These free events are a chance to learn more about the courses and meet some of the lecturers. The Animal Care teaching team host a wide range of interests and experiences and are extremely passionate about inspiring the future generation of animal care specialists. Staff from Birmingham Metropolitan College will also be on hand to answer any queries about enrolment or funding availability.
